Tijuana: Otaku Anime Cafe ~! [review]

Hoy les traigo una recomendación. No sabía si recomendarlo, porque obviamente con solo escuchar comentarios no se puede, pero después de haber ido unas cuantas veces a este lugar, decidí escribir sobre él.

Today I have for you a recommendation ~! I did not know whether to recommend this place, because obviously just hearing Comments you can not do it, but after going a few times to this place, I decided to write about it.

Pues bien, el lugar se llama “Otaku Anime Café” es muy reciente y en mi conocimiento el primer café de este estilo en la ciudad; se encuentra en la Avenida Revolución 1650 G, entre 8 y 9 en el callejón a un lado de Sanborns, Zona Centro en la ciudad de Tijuana B.C. México. El lugar se especializa en comida ligera estilo japonés. Sobre el lugar, ellos mismos lo describen como “Con un ambiente japonés, es tu casa para disfrutar de anime, video juegos, comida, snack y cultura japonesa. Irasshaimase”.

Well, the place is called "Otaku Anime Café" is very recent and to my knowledge the first coffee place of its kind in the city; is located at 1650 Revolution avenue, between 8 and 9 in the corred aside Sanborn, in downtown Tijuana BC Mexico. The place specializes in Japanese style, mainly light meals. On their website, they describe themselves as "With a Japanese environment, is your home to enjoy anime, video games, food, snack, and Japanese culture. Irasshaimase ".

En mi opinión:

El lugar está algo escondido, pero si conoces a gente que le guste el anime, lo encontrarás. Es pequeño, pero creo que para el público destinado a este tipo de sitios está bien, aparte es el primero en la ciudad que ha tratado de abrir un local para las personas interesadas en el anime, Japón y la cultura asiática en general, así que les doy puntos a favor por eso 3/5.

In my opinion:

The place is somewhat hidden, but if you know people who like anime, you'll find it ~! It's small, but I think for the audience intended for this kind of places is ok, and is also the first one in the city that has tried to open a place for people interested in anime, Japan and the Asian culture in general, so I give them points for that 3/5.

La atención al cliente me parece normal, pues el lugar es pequeño y te escuchan perfectamente, incluso si no conoces algún sabor, te dan una muestra para que este seguro de lo que pides, y si no hay más clientes, te dejen escoger el anime para ver en la televisión del lugar, eso me parece muy bien, 4/5.

The customer service is normal, the place is small so they can hear you perfectly, even if you don’t know a flavor of some food, you can ask for a sample and they would give it to you J so that you can be sure of what you’re ordering; and if there are no other clients, they let you pick the anime to see on the TV, so for me, that’s really good 4/5.

La comida del lugar me parece razonable, es sencilla, pero rica (al menos en mi opinión) y el tiempo de espera por tu comida es poco; incluso cuentan con servicio a domicilio. Su menú consta de: oniguiris, ramen, sushi, sandwiches, así como cafés, tés frappe, bobba milk tea, donitas, macaroons, entre otros. (para ver el menú completo clic aquí) 4/5.

The food is good, simple but delicious (at least for me) and the waiting time for your food is little; they even offer home delivery! Their menu consists of: oniguiris, ramen, sushi & sandwiches and coffees, teas frappe, bobba milk tea, donuts, macaroons, among others. (to see the full menu click here) 4/5.

El ambiente del lugar es lo que más me gustó, está decorado sencillamente pero de acuerdo a la temática y al gusto de los clientes, es tranquilo, relajado, e importante, está muy limpio; cuentan con una televisión en la que pasan anime o videos de música japonesa; venden artículos de anime, así como snacks de tierras niponas e incluso tienen algunas revistas con mangas en cada mesa (divertidas si sabes japonés y si no, también xD) 4/5.

Un extra es que en ocasiones tienen eventos para la comunidad otaku de Tijuana, por ejemplo de videojuegos y el ambiente siempre está lleno de amabilidad y buen servicio.

The ambiance of the place is what I liked most, the decoration is simple but according to the theme and to the taste of customers, it is quiet, relaxed, and important, it is very clean; the place has a TV where they have anime or Japanese music videos; they also sell anime items, Japanese snacks and even some manga magazines on each table. 4/5

A bonus is that sometimes they have events for the otaku community of Tijuana, for example videogames and the atmosphere is always full of kindness and good service.
